I started Southern Girl Prep in 2014, combining my love for my retail monogramming business with the creativity of designing comfy casual t-shirts.
It all began with the iconic American Flag. I designed a t-shirt for Memorial Day & the start of summer for my monogramming business. It had a cute designer flag on the back, the words Southern Girl in a cute script above the flag & we monogrammed the front. That single t-shirt became the best-selling product that we had ever carried! In that moment, I knew a new business was born. I am a Southern Girl, born & raised and so it was important to me to incorporate my southern roots & values into my company, and into our name.
As a wife & mother raising 2 of my own beautiful Southern Girls, our mission at Southern Girl Prep is to inspire every girl & woman to be confident in herself & her own unique style. We love classic preppy designs & we are inspired by our beautiful surroundings being nestled in the rolling hills of Tallahassee.
We are a casual, close-knit, Friday-loving family & when you wear our shirts, we want you to experience the feeling of comfort & belonging that we do every Friday night as we sit around our living room sharing all of the crazy happenings from the week. Right at the very center of our living room is Sophie, our sweet pup that is the inspiration for our logo.

In our line, we offer 100% cotton t-shirts as well as our soft-as-butter Ringspun shirts. We are the only t-shirt company in the industry that has a sleeve design on every single short sleeve & long sleeve that we sell. It is a design element that coordinates with the design on the back of each shirt. We are very proud of our designs created & printed right here in Tallahassee, Florida. We know that you & your customers will love celebrating your Southern Girl Prep side too!

Please note that selling on Facebook Buy-In groups or any type of wholesale group is strictly prohibited.
For approved wholesale accounts:
*Opening order minimum is $450.00
*Minimum 6 piece per design style on t-shirts, you can mix sizing, but all ordering must be done in quantities of 2 per size that you order.
*Accessories & other clothing are ordered in quantities of 2 as well, but with no minimums.
All reorders must also be done in quantities of 2 per size ordered.
*Shipping on in stock items will be within 2-3 days, backorders, if any, should not last longer than 2-3 weeks on a normal basis. We do not allow order cancellations once your order is placed.
*Shipping charges: You will be charged $5 at checkout for every order, but once your order is weighed & shipped, we will place a second charge for the remainder of the actual shipping cost once your order ships. We usually ship USPS Priority Mail. If you can not receive packages via the postal service at your location, please let us know on your order in the order comments section at checkout & we will ship FedEx upon this request.
**PLEASE NOTE: Your order will be charged in full at the time of checkout, even if you have a backorder. You will not be charged again once your backorder ships.
